Radio Cosmos redux!
Radio Cosmos is my way of sharing some of the music I love with you guys. My dad had a radio show here in Dallas back in the 70’s and 80’s, and I guess I got hooked on sharing music from going to the station with him. About a decade ago, I was really big into live365.com (one of the first big internet radio station sites) where I had a show that featured 48 hours of “the best music you’ve never heard”. As with most things, life happened and I had to move on from live365.
I think of the Radio Cosmos channel as a kind of soundtrack for Suzi, and I play the songs that I listen to while I work on the comic. In fact, I am listening to the station as I write this. I try to change it around to keep it fresh, and I am always looking for great new music. If you have some tunes that would fit the style, please share them with me! Finding cool songs is one of my joys in life, so share what you got and it just might wind up in the playlist!

Sunday Science: Fractals
Fractals are amazing. That something so simple can be so complex. I started using fractals in my art about a decade ago. As I have been working on Suzi, the idea that the universe is one big fractal has been lurking in the back of my mind. As I was doing more study on the nature of fractals this weekend, I came across this article from Space.com about how that idea works, but only to a point.
Go check out this cool fractal article from Space.com and let me know what you think.
Have you played with generating your own fractals? Apophysis 7x is my go to app for creating fractal art, and the best part? It’s free! George Kiehne actively develops Apophsis and has some stunning art on his site, so click the link already and start making your own fantastic fractals! -
That new theme smell!
I have been working on getting the site setup to handle the art better, like when I display double page spreads. This new theme will allow me to do that, and look great on your mobile device. I wanted a cleaner, faster feel to the site and I think this will do the trick.
If you see anything odd, feel free to point it out. I have a list of tweaks to make, so you might see some minor rearrangements here and there. Thanks alot for stopping by and reading! I appreciate you all.

I hate moving!
So sorry for the lack of updates this week. We are finally in and unpacking the new home. It’s been a challenge to downsize from a house to a town home, but the new digs are nice. The studio is almost setup and the network is up and running. Suzi will be back on schedule on Tuesday May 6th.

No Suzi today
We spent the weekend moving, and the internet will be on later today. I will have a new page up on Thursday the 24th, and we will be back on schedule!

Suzi on Saturday
Sorry guys,
We are in the process of packing to move, and I fell behind on my writing this week. I will have a special Suzi up on Saturday, along with updates to the site. I will also throw in a sneak peek at our snazzy new decoder wheel and other cool gear for you to play with. Next week, we will be back on a normal Tuesday/Thursday update cycle.

What a ride!
Well, the last page of Issue 1 goes up this Tuesday (Sept 24, 2013 for those of you in the future!)
I have learned a lot about my art, my storytelling and the creative process during this trip. I am going to take a couple of weeks off before I start posting Issue 2.
You can always find me over at my blog, talking about this and that. Stop on by and say hi.Things are going to get pretty cool for Suzi in Issue 2. Maybe I will post a couple of panels to whet your appetite while we wait for the next book to kick off…
